Parks & Recreation

Did not know that there is a nice park located behind the Township office building? Stop by and check it out! The bathrooms are open from mid-May through September. A pavilion is available on a first come basis.

The park has two ball fields, tennis courts, pickle ball courts and a basketball area. The park has a sand volleyball court, as well as a variety of playground equipment.

We are thrilled to share some exciting updates regarding our township park on Leonard St. We have recently added two remarkable features that are sure to enhance your park experience.

First and foremost, we are delighted to unveil the brand-new Little Free Library, conveniently located near the playground and restrooms at the front of the park (see attached picture). This incredible addition was made possible through the generous donation and innovative concept by Amelia Lothschutz. With the assistance of your Papa, she meticulously designed and built this wonderful community asset. We encourage you to take full advantage of this literary treasure trove by embracing the motto: Read..Return..Repeat. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Amelia and Papa for their invaluable contribution to our park.

In addition, we are excited to present photos of the new National Fitness Center’s outdoor exercise equipment.

We hope that these new additions bring joy and create even more opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and community engagement in our township park. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
